The Malawi Defence Force (MDF) has reviewed coaching panels for three of its Super League teams.
The affected teams are Red Lions, Kamuzu Barracks (KB) and Moyale Barracks whose respective coaches—Collins Nkuna, Kenwood Nkhoma and Temwa Msuku—are undergoing military training ahead of a foreign peacekeeping mission.
Those that are earmarked to take over as caretaker coaches are Mike Kumanga (Red Lions), Billy Phambala (KB) and Themba Mtontholo (Moyale).
But MDF sports officer John Kaputa on Wednesday said he needed to consult the directorate of military operations before he can comment on the development.
